Makeup is  to some extent a necessary evil. Some of us love it, some of us hate it. But in most cases, girls (and some boys) have probably had to wear it at some point or another, and those who wear glasses are no exception. That said, wearing makeup and glasses at the same time can get a bit challenging sometimes. For example, on days when it’s too hot your makeup might run and get on your glasses or even if it didn’t run, sometimes it goes unnoticed hidden behind those frames.

If you like wearing makeup but can’t seem to get it right for when you’re wearing glasses, worry no more. Here at Vision Direct, we understand your pain, and have decided to compile 5 of the best video tutorials to show you how to do your makeup for glasses, for 5 different occasions. Click on the images below to see the videos.

2You know those days when you feel like your makeup is melting, and when you take off your glasses they’re all dirty from your foundation? yeah, those crappy days. Well, on this tutorial they show you how to get your makeup to stay on and not mess with your glasses. The secret: primer!

3. Smokey Eye Makeup for Glasses

So the main tips for doing your makeup for glasses:

  1. Use primer before putting on your foundation and a little bit of powder after,  to keep it from smudging from contact with the glasses.
  2. Fill in your brows! but not too much, be careful to not over do it.
  3. Use highlighter along your waterlines to brighten up your eyes.
  4. Cat eye or winged eyeliner can give you an edgier look.
  5. Volumizing mascara can make all the difference! it helps to open up your eyes.

We hope you found these tutorials useful and learned a few new tricks.
