Who Hit an Ace at the Australian Open?

This year’s Australian open was a great way to kick off the 2015 tennis circuit, offering thrills and spills across all competitions. In the end, two familiar faces were left standing, as Serena Williams beat Maria Sharapova in straight sets, whilst Novak Djokovic battled to victory against Andy Murray.

Both on the court and off it, this star-studded tournament was also a great place to check out the latest Summer fashion trends. For the athletes competing at the Open, its all about improving your performance, and for the celebs in the stands, its all about nailing that chilled out Summer look. Here is our pick of the Top Five coolest looks from this year’s competition.

Sam Stosur

World No.4 and Australian No.1 Sam Stosur wore these wrap-around Oakley® Raderlock Path sunglasses to her matches. These Oakley sunglasses feature durable polycarbonate lenses with Iridium coating, which eliminate glare without affecting depth perception or colour recognition. Unfortunately, they didn’t help poor Sam, who crashed out in the second round of the competition.

Anastasia Rodionova

Russian-Australian pro Anastasia Rodionova was seen taking to the court with these Oakley® Half Jacket sunglasses. Like the Radarlock Path models, these frames feature cooling air vents and patented Unobtanium nosepads and earsocks, meaning that however intense the game, these frames will not fall off.

Andy Murry Girlfriend

Andy Murray’s fiancé may have stirred up some controversy with her “Parental Advisory” T-shirt (controversial? really?) but here she gets it spot on with these over-sized Ray-Ban® Original Wayfarer Polarized Sunglasses.

One Direction heart-throb Niall Horan was spotted in the crowd trying to avoid the attention of the legions of Directioners behind some classic Ray-Ban® Wayfarer sunglasses.

Maria Sharapova

Tennis superstar, and finalist in this year’s Australian Open, Maria Sharapova was seen turning up for the tournament in these on-point Ray-Ban® Cats, showing that even when its game time, there’s no reason you cant look cool.
