Travelling is one of the greatest pleasures in life and blogger Rachel Jones aka Hippie in Heels is extremely lucky to be one of the few who get to live her life out on the road! The Ohio raised travel junkie has lived the dream of travelling to the vast corners of the world before settling in the magnificent city of Goa, India, where she currently resides. Us at VisionDirect were lucky enough today to grab an exclusive interview with the travel blogger, who is currently travelling around her home country of the United States!

We saw that you really like Ray-Ban Clubmaster sunglasses. Why do you like them so much?

It’s so strange, but it’s because David Beckham wears them and he’s the coolest! I didn’t realise they were unisex. They have the gold which I love and such a classic look that will never go out of style.

Do different travel destinations inspire you to wear different sunglasses? What destinations would you pick and which glasses would you match to these destinations?

Absolutely! I was just in Vegas where I wore some huge Le Specs sunglasses, very diva style. When I was in Florida recently visiting Disney, I wore blue lenses with tortoise frames from Taylor Morris which are really fun. For Nashville, my next trip I’ll be wearing my Ray Bans. 

What’s your number one rule when choosing sunglasses for travelling?

Take more than one pair! I always travel with at least two. I take one practical pair and one that’s a little more fun and adds to an outfit or bikini!
